    Statutory Inspections & Lift Installations: Ensuring all lifting equipment and safety-critical systems comply with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

    LTSI (Long Term Storage Inspections): Detailed inspection regimes focused on keeping stored components in perfect condition.

    Type 1 (500-Hour) Maintenance: Comprehensive maintenance scope following turbine installation.

Detailed RAMS, rescue plans, and emergency response procedures will be developed in close coordination with Nordex prior to mobilisation.

Experienced Wind Turbine Maintenance Technicians

Due to continued growth and the recent award of these major works across the UK, Windtex Engineering is actively seeking experienced wind turbine maintenance technicians to join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of a well-established company delivering high-profile projects within the renewable energy sector.

We are specifically looking for technicians with proven, hands-on experience working on Nordex Delta technology. Candidates must be confident carrying out scheduled maintenance activities, with a strong understanding of turbine systems, safety protocols, and OEM procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working on Nordex Delta turbines
  • Competency in Type 1 (500-hour) maintenance and general servicing
  • Strong mechanical capability
  • Familiarity with isolation procedures
  • Valid GWO certifications (Working at Height, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness)
  • Ability to work at height and in challenging environmental conditions
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • Nordex Limited Authorised Technician (L-AT) status
  • Experience supporting statutory inspections activities
  • Previous experience working across UK wind farm sites
